Enroflox (brand of enrofloxacin) Injectable Solution is indicated for the management of diseases in dogs associated with bacteria susceptible to enrofloxacin. A fluoroquinolone designed for the management of bacterial diseases, with broad-spectrum activity against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria including those causing dermal, respiratory and urinary tract infections.

Enrofloxacin is a broad-spectrum ANTIBIOTIC used in veterinary medicine to treat animals afflicted with certain bacterial infections. Enrofloxacin may be an appropriate treatment option for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella, E.coli., Enterobacter, Campylobacter, Shigella, Salmonella, Aeromonas, Haemophilus, Proteus, Yersinia, Serratia, Vibrio, Brucella, Chlamydia, Staphylococci (including some methicillin resistant strains), Mycoplasma, and Mycobacterium.

COMPOSITIONS :
Enrofloxacin 100 mg per ml
DESCRIPTION:
The product is clear or light yellow liquid
INDICATIONS : For the treatment of animals’ bacterial diseases and mycoplasma infections, such as pig’s mycoplasma pneumonia, Pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, streptococcicosis,actinobacillosis , mastitis, etc.And skin , respiratory tract and urinary tract infections caused by canine and feline’s sensitive bacteria

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Cattle,sheep and pig ----2.5 –3 ml per 1kg of body weight
Dog ,cat and rabbit ----3 –5 ml per 1kg of body weight
Once to twice a day for two or three days
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
1 It can cause young animals’ cartilage to lesion , leading to claudication and pain.
2 I t has some effect on digestive system, e.g.vomit , bellyache and abdominal distention.
3 It has some cutireaction,e.g erythema, pruritus ,hives and photosensitized reactions.
PRECAUTIONS :
1 It is not suitable for horse .
2 It is not suitable for dog which is 8 weeks old .
3 It has some potential stimulant effect on cental system,leading to falling sickness and dogs which have falling sickness should be used with caution .
4 Carnivorous animals and animals with bad renal function should be used with caution , sometimes it may lead to crystalluria.
5 The drug-resistant strains are growing ,it is not used in a long time .
6 It is not used for laying hens .

Cattle and sheep :14 days ;Pig :10 days ;Rabbit : 14 days
