Norfloxacin is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
This ANTIBIOTIC treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.
It is fluoroquinolone anti-bacterial drugs. It is broad-spectrum anti-bacterial. It can rival with DNA Gyrase so as to interdict DNA replication with the function of rapidly killing the bacterium.
It can prevent and cure poultry salpingitis and ovaritis that are caused by all kinds of sensitive bacteria, e.g. rough shelled egg,soft shelled egg,malformed egg,discolored eggs and a drop in egg production.
